1. What is Presti AI?

Furniture companies invest significant amounts of time and money each year on photoshoots or CGI to produce product images.

With Presti AI, users can upload a simple product image and stage it in any environment within seconds. Our platform also enables users to manage all aspects of product visuals. For instance, users can modify the color and fabric of their products and generate consistent visuals for an entire collection.

1. First a short introduction, why did you start Presti AI, when, who etc. ?

August 2022 in Paris, my three co-founders and I decided to embark on creating a startup. We were searching for an idea and explored various possibilities by conducting customer interviews. This process led us to identify the challenge of product staging. Simultaneously, we encountered new advancements in AI that demonstrated the potential to revolutionize many industries.

The convergence of these two factors convinced us that there was a significant problem to solve, and that this technological advancement would be the key. Through discussions with numerous clients, we discovered that this need was particularly pronounced in the furniture industry, due to the exorbitant costs associated with traditional photoshoots or 3D modeling.

1. How does Presti AI differentiate itself from other AI solutions on the market, particularly in the context of interior design and home decor?

Compared to other AI solutions, we provide a premium offering with significantly higher quality images. We are the only AI solution capable of delivering high-quality images of your furniture products while maintaining the integrity of your product. We are also specialized in the furniture industry and have developed numerous features tailored to this sector. This enables our clients to rely on our technology for their product visuals.

1. What have been some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced in developing and implementing Presti AI, and how have you overcome them?

At first, we faced challenges in producing high-quality images for our customers while preserving product integrity and managing perspectives, which hindered our ability to market our software effectively.

To overcome these obstacles, we developed our own AI, retraining it with a specialized dataset of over 75,000 ultra-high-quality furniture photos.

This customized approach greatly improved our AI's accuracy and reliability, enabling it to generate images with correct perspectives and high realism.

1. How do you see the role of artificial intelligence evolving in the interior design sector over the next five years, and how is Presti AI positioning itself for this future?

Presti AI is set to become the go-to solution for product staging. The furniture industry places a high value on effective staging, and we plan to continue evolving within this sector to meet our clients' needs. While there are clear opportunities to expand into other areas, we still have much to accomplish, particularly in delivering the most realistic photos possible. Additionally, we are already exploring video, a new frontier we are actively working on.
